Overview
When the Santa Fe R-X, MO School District decided to start converting to LED, they looked to Ideal Energy to help them figure out their options. The existing lighting was predominately T8 fluorescent lighting which wasn’t the best lighting for a classroom environment.
Ideal Energy completed audits on both buildings and when it was determined that a retrofit would save over $19,158 annually they proceeded to mover forward with the project. An incentive from the power company of over $30,000 helped insure the project would have a great ROI. The school was even able to use the energy savings to pay for the project with 0% interest, making this a true no-cost upgrade.
