Overview
Cass Precision had 2 buildings that ran multiple shifts amounting to 6,656 annual hours of operation in those areas. The existing lighting system used outdated T8 fluorescent High Bays.
The old lighting system required a lot of maintenance due to the long hours and difficult environment due to the machining and welding. The lights were converted to 18W LED tubes and all the ballasts were eliminated, which greatly reduced maintenance.

By switching to LED Cass eliminated 166,513 lbs. of Green House Gas Emissions from the environment which is equal to removing 25.4 passenger vehicles from the road.
